Oy Vey!

So...bad news. I have no idea what to write. This blog is for a class so I had to have five posts. I only had 4. However, I did have two REALLY cool posts I wanted to do. They both turned out to be fails unfortunately.

The first one was gonna be the ODU vs. VCU basketball game. I had it planned I was gonna go to the game, we were gonna win, and it was gonna be an epic blog of me boasting about the ODU/VCU rivalry. Well yeah...now you know why THAT failed. We lost. I even left early because I was kind of upset. I thought we were really good and that we would have this is the bag. Turns out, I was wrong. We should definitely stick to football (which we lost that game too this weekend! Total bummer).

My second post was gonna be about my The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part 2 experience. I've been waiting for this moment ever since I read all four books in 3 months time. My ex-best friend turned me onto it. I stayed at her house after the first movie came out on DVD. I fell in love, borrowed all her books, and read all four the rest of the summer. I have this thing where I don't go see the movie when it first comes out because I hate crowds, but now that everyone has seen it (but me!) they all want to tell me the story line and it's making me mad. So I was gonna go see it today with my cousin, but that was obviously a fail. She had to go do something else so now we're going next weekend and I have to put up with another week of people trying to tell me the story line!

Anyway, when I started writing this blog, I didn't realized I would write about what I was gonna write about. I sorta just thought I would wing it...which I guess I kinda did regardless. Whatever the case, I wrote my fifth post and I have other assignments to finish now. Adiós amigos!

To be or not to be...(with a roommate)

So living the college life usually comes with living dorms. Living in dorms comes with a roommate. A roommate, depending on the situation (whether you knew them before or just met), can possibly lead to problems and sometimes these problems become HUGE. Sometimes it's not even the roommate, but your suitemates that cause problems. Let's just say...I have a little of both.

My roommate was SO cool when we first made contact. It was through emails and Facebook. We kind of were getting to know each, finding out who was bringing what, etc. My first impression when we met was 'Hell yeah! This is gonna be awesome! We're completely on the same page!' During the first week of classes, however, I was feeling more along the lines of  'She's crazy. I hate her. I wanna go home.' and I did. I went home. My mom works in VA Beach so it was no big deal. I came back Monday and...I still pretty much hated her. I think I hated her a little more cause my stuff started going missing, my food was being eaten, my sodas were gone, the room was messy, it smelled weird, there was a LONG list of reasons of why I didn't wanna be there. Oh, and did I mention she had her boyfriend and his friend stay over the second week?! Yeah and the 3rd week ANOTHER friend stayed the weekend! Now we're okay. We talk, we're friendly, I'm selling her my textbook, but that's about it. But now...she's a freaking mess. Her clothes are everywhere sometimes and her towels are usually balled up on her bed which leads to the sour smell. Yes, I have bought so many air fresheners to get rid of 'The Smell.'

But it's not just her. My suitemate is just as bad sometimes when it comes to the bathroom. I clean the bathroom. Like I am the ONLY one who cleans the bathroom. Which is crazy cause you would think a bunch of girls living together would be super clean, right? NO! I clean the bathroom and I take out the bathroom's trash and if I don't do it...NO ONE will. It will just sit there gathering dust and conjuring up this God awful smell. It's way gross so I clean.

Everyday I count the days it's gets closer to a break so I can GO HOME and be away from these crazy, non-cleaning, smelly girls!
